It supplies automotive after-market products and consumer durable goods products, including booster cables, portable and rechargeable hand lamps, lighting products, cord sets, residential household light bulbs, night lights, multiple outlet devices, emergency road side kits, and miscellaneous battery and other consumer products to retailers and wholesalers in the automotive after-market and consumer durable electrical products markets. The company also manufactures and sells specialized equipment, consisting of expandable tubular products, such as liner hangers, launchers, and sand screens for energy field service applications; top drive assemblies, sub-assemblies, and spare service parts; measurement while drilling products; directional drilling products; completion tools; exploration products for research and development; natural gas measurement equipment comprising fittings and valves; power frames for centrifugal pumps and mud motors; and sub-sea control equipment for energy industry customers. In addition, American International Industries involves in onshore rig-based well servicing contracting activities, including workover services, plugging and abandonment, and well completion and recompletion services to oil and natural gas companies. Further, it owns oil, gas, and mineral royalty interests in Washington County, Texas; and a real estate property consisting of 287 acres of undeveloped land located on Dickenson Bayou and Galveston Bay in Galveston County, Texas. The company was founded in 1994 and is based in Kemah, Texas.
