It operates in three segments: Collaborative Supply Chain Management, Enterprise Resource Planning, and Information Technology Consulting. The Collaborative Supply Chain Management segment provides collaborative supply chain solutions to streamline and optimize the forecasting, production, distribution, and management of products between trading partners. It also markets and sells supply chain planning systems under Demand Solutions name through its value-added reseller distribution network, as well as offers Logility Voyager Solutions suite to companies with distribution-intensive supply chains through direct and indirect sales channels. The Enterprise Resource Planning segment provides purchasing and materials management, customer order processing, financial, e-commerce, flow manufacturing, and traditional manufacturing solutions, as well as offers industry-specific business software to retailers and manufacturers in the apparel, sewn products, and furniture industries. The Information Technology Consulting segment provides information technology staffing and consulting services. It also offers support for its software products, such as software enhancements, documentation, updates, customer education, consulting, systems integration services, and maintenance. The company serves retail, apparel, consumer-packaged goods, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, industrial products, and other manufacturing industries. American Software was founded in 1970 and is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.
