This segment also manages rooftop and tower sites for property owners in the United States, Mexico, and Brazil. Its Network Development Services segment offers tower-related services, including site acquisition, zoning and permitting services, and structural analysis services. As of December 31, 2008, the company had a portfolio of approximately 19,600 wireless and broadcast tower sites in the United States; and approximately 4,000 wireless and broadcast tower sites in Mexico, Brazil, and India. It also operated approximately 170 DAS networks in malls, casinos, and other in-building applications in the United States and Mexico. The company was founded in 1995 and is headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts.
