It was formerly known as Apco Argentina Inc. and changed its name to Apco Oil & Gas International Inc. on July 16, 2009. The company was founded in 1970 and is headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Apco Oil & Gas International Inc. is a subsidiary of The Williams Companies, Inc.
