AmeriGas Partners, L.P., through its subsidiary, AmeriGas Propane, L.P., operates as a retail propane distributor in the United States. As of September 30, 2008, it served approximately 1.3 million residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural, and motor fuel customers from approximately 600 district locations in 46 states. The company also sells, installs, and services propane appliances, including heating systems. In addition, it installs and services propane fuel systems for motor vehicles in certain markets. AmeriGas Propane, Inc. serves as the general partner to the company. AmeriGas Partners was founded in 1994 and is based in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.
