Camtek Ltd. engages in the design, development, manufacture, and marketing of automated optical inspection (AOI) systems and related products. Its AOI systems are computerized systems, which optically inspect various types of electronic product components for defects caused during the manufacturing process. The company's products include Dragon systems for the inspection of various printed circuit board (PCB) types in a mass production environment; Orion systems that are AOI systems for the high volume inspection of various PCB types; and the Pegasus line, which includes systems for automated inspection of finished integrated circuit (IC) substrates that are subsequently used in packaging of ball grid array and chip scale package devices. It also offers the Mustang line that includes systems for automated inspection of finished HD panels that are subsequently used in mobile consumer electronics, such as mobile-phones, digital cameras, PDAs, and other consumer electronic devices; Planet for the inspection of ultra-fine-line IC substrate; LAM for main-stream Large Area Masks (LAM) inspection; and Automated Inspectify Center, which integrates inspection and verification into one cell. In addition, Camtek provides verification systems that enable verification of panels after inspection; and the Falcon's advanced algorithms and inspection capabilities, which enable its dedicated models to detect defects in the semiconductor die. The company primarily serves the PCB, IC substrate, and semiconductor manufacturing and packaging industries. It offers its products primarily through a distribution network in the Asia Pacific region, North America, and Europe. The company was founded in 1987 and is headquartered in Migdal Ha'Emek, Israel. Camtek Ltd. is a subsidiary of Priortech Ltd.
