This segment also has interests in two mines under development in Canada and Kazakhstan. The Fuel Services segment engages in the refining, conversion, and fabrication of uranium concentrate; and the purchase and sale of conversion services to produce fuel for nuclear reactors. This segment also manufactures fuel bundles used in Candu reactors, as well as participates in uranium exploration and production, and fuel fabrication of the Candu nuclear fuel cycle. The Electricity segment involves in the generation and sale of nuclear electricity, through its 31.6% interest in the Bruce Power Limited Partnership. The Gold segment engages in the exploration for, mining, milling, and sale of gold. It operates two gold mines, located in the Kyrgyz Republic and Mongolia. The company was founded in 1987 and is headquartered in Saskatoon, Canada.
