Canadian Pacific Railway Limited, through its subsidiaries, operates a transcontinental railway in Canada and the United States. It offers rail and intermodal freight transportation services over approximately 15,500-mile railway network serving the principal business centers of Canada, including Montreal, Quebec, Vancouver, British Colombia; and the midwest and northeast regions of the United States. The company transports bulk commodities, including, grain, coal, sulphur, and fertilizers; merchandise freight that consist of finished vehicles and automotive parts; and intermodal traffic, which includes time-sensitive retail goods, as well as forest, industrial, and consumer products. Canadian Pacific Railway Limited was founded in 1881 and is based in Calgary, Canada.
