The Premium Alloys Operations segment provides metal alloys and stainless steels in the form of ingots, billets, bars, and hollows. It primarily serves the aerospace and energy industries under the Carpenter brand name. The company distributes its products directly from its production plants, and through distribution network and independent distributors. Carpenter Technology Corporation was founded in 1889 and is based in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania.
