It offers Double-Take, a software that provides protection of data to reduce or eliminate data loss, as well as the ability to recover the application and server needed to utilize that data through automatic or manually initiated failover; and TimeData software, which allows customers to protect and recover data in an application-specific manner for Microsoft Exchange and SQL. The company also provides netBoot/I that enable organizations to utilize the iSCSI based storage area networks to launch virtual and physical servers, and desktops for workload management tasks, including provisioning, migration, and recovery. In addition, it offers its products in various editions and versions that are aligned to operating system capabilities, as well as provides customer support, engineering support, maintenance, deployment, and training services. Double-Take Software, Inc. sells and licenses its software to law firms, financial institutions, hospitals, school districts, and government entities through a network of distributors, value added resellers, and original equipment manufacturers, as well as through direct sales force. The company was formerly known as NSI Software, Inc. and changed its name to Double-Take Software, Inc. in July 2006. Double-Take Software, Inc. was founded in 1991 and is based in Southborough, Massachusetts.
