Delta Apparel, Inc. designs, manufactures, distributes, and markets branded and private label activewear apparel. It operates in two segments, Activewear and Retail-Ready. The Activewear segment offers unembellished knit apparel under the ‘Delta Pro Weight’, ‘Delta Magnum Weight’ and ‘Quail Hollow’ names. The Delta Pro Weight line represents various mid-weight, cotton silhouettes, short sleeve and long sleeve tees for youth and adults, and specialty items for adults, including pocket tees and ringer tees. The Delta Magnum Weight line offers short sleeve and long sleeve silhouettes in size 2-Toddler to adult sizes up to 5X; and specialty items, including the Tall Tee in sizes to 5XLT for young men, and Toddler and Juvenile styles for the younger child. The Quail Hollow line includes polo shirts, and ladies and junior tees. This segment also designs and manufactures private labeled custom knit T-shirts, including embellished products. Its products are primarily sold to screen printing companies. In addition, this segment manufactures products under private labels for retailers, branded sportswear companies, corporate industry programs, and sports licensed apparel marketers. The Retail-Ready segment designs and produces specialized apparel garments, including shorts, t-shirts, jersey, and fleece for toddlers, boys’, girls’, men, and women under the ‘Soffe’, ‘Intensity Athletics’, ‘Junkfood’, ‘Junk Mail’, and ‘Sweet and Sour’ names through specialty and boutique stores, high-end and mid-tier retail stores, and sporting goods stores. In addition, it supplies certain products to college bookstores and produce products for the U.S. Military. Delta Apparel, Inc. also owns interests in Gekko Brands, which supplies licensed and decorated headwear, under the brands of The Game and Kudzu. The company was founded in 1999 and is based in Duluth, Georgia.
