Denison Mines Corp., together with its subsidiaries, engages in the development, exploration, and production of oil and gas, gold, copper, cobalt, zinc, lead, silver, uranium, vanadium, diamonds, phosphate, iodine, sulphate, and nitrate in Canada, the United States, Mongolia, and Zambia. It owns 100% interests in the White Mesa mill located in Utah; 22.5% interest in the McClean Lake mill in Saskatchewan; a 25.17% interest in the Midwest project situated in the Athabasca Basin of Saskatchewan, Canada; a 75% interest in the Moore Lake property located in the Athabasca Basin; a 60% interest in the Wheeler River property; and a 13% interest in the Wolly property; and a 49% interest in Park Creek. The company also has a 70% interest in the Gurvan Saihan joint venture in Mongolia; and a 100% interest in the Mutanga Project consisting of the Mutanga and Dibwe deposits located in Zambia. In addition, it owns various uranium deposits located in the Arizona Strip district in northeastern Arizona; and a mineral property in the Henry Mountains district. Denison Mines Corp. was formerly known as International Uranium Corporation. The company is headquartered in Toronto, Canada.
