In addition, it provides personal financial planning services, such as asset preservation/protection, employee benefits, estate planning, investments and asset allocation, retirement planning, risk management, and insurance and tax planning, as well as assistance in preparing for special situations by offering financial planning; financial counseling for employees, financial planning for executives, and financial workshops for employees; investment management services, including investment planning and implementation for individual and business clients; and investment consulting services to individuals, companies, and qualified retirement plans. Further, the company offers trust services to individuals, and management of judgment or settlement awards for minors or incapacitated persons; and personal and commercial property and casualty insurance products. As of March 31, 2009, it operated 17 private client offices in the greater Houston area and southwest Florida; and 5 wealth management offices and 3 insurance offices in Texas. The company was founded in 1928 and is headquartered in Houston, Texas.
