EOG Resources, Inc., together with its subsidiaries, engages in the exploration, development, production, and marketing of natural gas and crude oil primarily in the United States, Canada, Trinidad, the United Kingdom North Sea, and China. As of December 31, 2008, the company's total estimated net proved reserves were 8,689 billion cubic feet equivalent (Bcfe), of which 7,339 billion cubic feet were natural gas reserves and 1,350 Bcfe were crude oil, and condensate and natural gas liquids reserves. EOG Resources, Inc. was founded in 1985 and is based in Houston, Texas.
