It also offers consumer loans, including home improvement loans; home equity loans; education loans; and loans secured by automobiles, boats, mobile homes, recreational vehicles, and personal property. In addition, ESB Financial Corporation provides commercial real estate loans, which are secured by apartment buildings, office buildings, small retail shopping centers, and other income-producing properties; loan servicing and origination; and commercial business loans and lines-of-credit for municipalities, equipment purchase loans, finance accounts receivable and inventory loans, and loans for other business purposes. Further, the company provides residential and commercial loan closing, and title closing services. Additionally, it engages in the real estate development and construction of 1-4 family residential units. As of June 17, 2009, the company operated 23 offices in Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, and Lawrence counties, Pennsylvania. ESB Financial Corporation was founded in 1915 and is headquartered in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania.
