It invests in the public equity markets of the People's Republic of China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau collectively, the China Region. The fund invests in stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. It benchmarks the performance of its portfolio against a customized benchmark MSCI Golden Dragon Index comprising of 24.1% of the MSCI Hong Kong Index, 42.7% of the MSCI China Index and 33.2% of the MSCI Taiwan Index. JF China Region Fund, Inc. was formed on May 22, 1992 and is domiciled in the United States.
