Quicksilver Gas Services LP (KGS)
Quicksilver Gas Services LP engages in gathering and processing natural gas and natural gas liquids on the Barnett Shale formation of the Fort Worth Basin located in north Texas. As of December 31, 2008, it owned the Cowtown Pipeline, which consists of a pipeline gathering system and gas compression facilities in the southern portion of the Fort Worth Basin; and the Cowtown Plant that comprises two natural gas processing units, as well as the Corvette Plant, which consists of a natural gas processing unit in Hood County, Texas. Quicksilver Gas Services GP LLC serves as the general partner of Quicksilver Gas Services LP. The company was founded in 2004 and is based in Fort Worth, Texas. Quicksilver Gas Services LP is a subsidiary of Quicksilver Resources Inc.
