The company provides its services through 2G technology platforms, including short messaging services, interactive voice response, and color ring back tones; and through 2.5G technology and operating platforms, including WAP, multimedia messaging services, and Java. KongZhong Corporation was formerly known as Communication Over The Air Inc. and changed its name to KongZhong Corporation in March 2004. The company was founded in 2002 and is headquartered in Beijing, the People's Republic of China.
