The Homebuilding segment engages in the construction and sale of single family detached homes for first-time and first-time move-up homebuyers under the name ‘Richmond American Homes’ in Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware Valley, Florida, Maryland, Nevada, Utah, and Virginia. The Financial Services and Other segment originates mortgage loans primarily for homebuyers, as well as brokers mortgage loans for origination by outside lending institutions. It also offers third party insurance products and title agency services to its homebuyers in Colorado, Florida, Maryland, Nevada, Virginia, and West Virginia, as well as provides general liability coverage to subcontractors. The company was founded in 1972 and is based in Denver, Colorado.
