Its HT-WLAN chipsets are designed to enable transport of digital broadband media, including video, voice, and data; and DSL chipsets enable the digital transmission of voice, video, and data over copper wire communications lines at speeds that are up to 2,000 times faster than transmission rates provided by conventional analog modems. The company's chipsets include two individual integrated circuits or chips, and comprise an analog front-end for line interfacing with analog signals and a digital signal processor/framer for signal and data processing of the messages being transmitted. It sells its chipsets through independent sales representatives and distributors, as well as directly to customers. The company was founded in 1992 and is headquartered in Yakum, Israel.
