The company, through its proprietary digital content network and digital broadcast network, distributes advertising, business meetings, and digital programming event services. It develops, produces, sells, and distributes a branded, pre-feature entertainment and advertising program, ‘FirstLook’; an advertising program for the lobby entertainment network; and various marketing and promotional products in theatre lobbies. The company also offers live and pre-recorded networked and single-site meetings, corporate events, and church services in the movie theatres throughout its network; and distributes live and pre-recorded concerts, sporting events, and other entertainment programming content to theatres in its digital network. In addition, it provides its services to third-party theater circuits through network affiliate agreements. As of January 1, 2009, National CineMedia had approximately 17,313 screens in its network. The company was founded in 2005 and is headquartered in Centennial, Colorado.
