Omega Protein Corporation's fish oil products comprise crude unrefined fish oil, refined fish oil, and food grade oils. The company's fish oils are utilized for animal and aquaculture feeds, industrial applications, and additives to human food products, as well as used as dietary supplements. It sells fish solubles, including Neptune Fish Concentrate, OmegaGrow, and OmegaGrow Plus primarily to livestock and aquaculture feed manufacturers, as well as for use as an organic fertilizer. The company sells its products through independent sales agents in the United States, Mexico, Asia, Europe, Canada, South America, and Central America. Omega Protein Corporation was founded in 1998 and is based in Houston, Texas.
