It also provides supply-chain management services, including inventory management; information management; strategic, logistical, and clinical inventory management consulting; materials management outsourcing; and resource management. The company's customers include acute care hospitals, federal government, and alternate care providers, such as ambulatory surgery centers, physiciansÂ’ practices, clinics, home healthcare organizations, nursing homes, and rehabilitation facilities. Owens & Minor, Inc. was founded in 1882 and is headquartered in Mechanicsville, Virginia.
