P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc., through its subsidiaries, engages in the ownership and operation of restaurants in the United States. It owns and operates two restaurant concepts, P.F. Chang's China Bistro and Pei Wei Asian Diner. As of December 28, 2008, it operated 189 full service Bistro restaurants and 159 quick casual Pei Wei restaurants. P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. has development and license agreements with Alsea, S.A.B. de C.V. & M.H. Alshaya to develop P.F. Chang's restaurants in Mexico and the Middle East. The company was founded in 1996 and is based in Scottsdale, Arizona.
