The company's development stage products include RG1068, human secretin for improved MRI of the pancreas; and transcription enhancers for Friedreich's ataxia caused by a single gene defect that results in inadequate production of the protein frataxin, and Huntington's disease. Its development stage products also include RG2417; Uridine for bipolar depression; and a biological compound for multiple biosynthetic processes, including the synthesis of DNA and RNA, and various other factors essential for cell metabolism. The company sells its Protein A products primarily through value-added resellers, as well as through distributors internationally. Repligen Corporation was founded in 1981 and is headquartered in Waltham, Massachusetts.
