It also offers precision plate sawing, punching, routing, sawing, shape cutting, shearing, skin milling, slitting, tee splitting, twin milling, welding, wheelabrating, shotblasting, and bead-blasting services. The company's customers include manufacturers and end-users in the general manufacturing; non-residential construction; rail, truck trailer, and shipbuilding; aerospace; energy; electronics; and semiconductor fabrication and related industries. As of December 31, 2008, it maintained approximately 200 metals service center processing and distribution facilities in 38 states, and in Belgium, Canada, Mexico, Singapore, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and the People's Republic of China. The company was founded in 1939 and is headquartered in Los Angeles, California.
