It also provides trust and investment services, and safe deposit boxes. The company serves customers through automated teller machines (ATMs) and debit cards, as well as through its automated telephone and Internet electronic banking products. As of December 31, 2008, it operated through 22 banking offices, as well as approximately 100 ATMs in 9 counties throughout North Carolina. The company was founded in 1996 and is headquartered in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
