Seattle Genetics, Inc., a clinical-stage biotechnology company, focuses on developing and commercializing monoclonal antibody-based therapies for the treatment of cancer and autoimmune disease. It has a collaboration agreement with Genentech, Inc. to develop and commercialize Dacetuzumab; with Genentech, Inc., Bayer Pharmaceuticals Corporation, CuraGen Corporation, Progenics Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Daiichi Sankyo Co., Ltd., and MedImmune Inc. for the company's antibody-drug conjugates (ADC) technology; and an ADC co-development agreement with Agensys, Inc. The company was founded in 1997 and is headquartered in Bothell, Washington.
