The Singapore Fund, Inc. is a close-ended equity mutual fund launched by DBS Asset Management (United States) Pte. Ltd. It is managed by Daiwa SB Investments (Singapore) Ltd. (DSBI Singapore). The fund invests primarily in the public equity markets of Singapore. It also invests in ASEAN Group including Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar (formerly Burma), the Philippines, Thailand, and Vietnam. The fund seeks to invest in stocks of companies operating across diversified sectors. It benchmarks the performance of its portfolio against the Straits Times Index. The Singapore Fund, Inc. was formed on May 31, 1990 and is domiciled in the United States.
