The company serves various customers, including universities, pharmaceutical companies, commercial laboratories, industrial companies, non-profit organizations, governmental institutions, biotechnology, diagnostic, chemical and electronics companies, and hospitals. It has a collaboration agreement with Roche Nimblegen Inc. The company was founded in 1951 and is based in St. Louis, Missouri.
