SkyWest, Inc., through its subsidiaries, operates regional airlines in the United States. It offers scheduled passenger and air freight services in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean. The company also provides ground handling services for airlines. As of December, 31, 2008, it operated a fleet of 442 aircrafts, of which 258 were assigned with Delta, 163 were assigned with United, 12 were assigned with Midwest, and 9 were used as an additional maintenance spare aircraft. SkyWest, Inc. was founded in 1972 and is headquartered in St. George, Utah.
