The Technology Products segment provides approximately 100,000 brand name and private label products. This segment offers personal computers, desktops, laptops, notebooks, laser printer toner and ink jet printer cartridges, flash memory, recordable disks, magnetic tape cartridges, hard disks, CD-ROM and DVD drives, printers, scanners, memory upgrades, data communication and networking equipment, monitors, digital cameras, plasma and LCD TVs, MP3 and DVD players, personal digital assistants, and packaged software. Its TigerDirect and CompUSA brands operate 29 retail stores in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. Systemax owns the e-commerce business of CircuitCity.com. MISCO engages in online retailing of IT products and consumer electronics in Europe. Additionally, the Technology Products segment assembles PCs and sells computers and accessories under the Systemax and Ultra brand names. The Industrial Products segment provides a range of industrial equipment and supplies. This segment consists of Global Industrial Equipment and Nexel Industries. The Industrial Products group offers storage equipment; light material handling equipment; ladders, furniture, small office machines, and related supplies; and consumable industrial products, such as first aid items, safety items, protective clothing, and OSHA compliance items. The company was founded in 1995 and is headquartered in Port Washington, New York.
