TriMas Corporation manufactures engineered and applied products used in various commercial, industrial, and consumer applications worldwide. The company operates through five segments: Packaging Systems, Energy Products, Industrial Specialties, RV & Trailer Products, and Recreational Accessories. The Packaging Systems segment designs, manufactures, and distributes steel and plastic closure caps, drum enclosures, rings and levers, and dispensing systems for industrial and consumer packaging applications. The Energy Products segment designs, manufactures, and distributes engines and engine replacement parts and accessory fabricated steel products for the oil and gas industry, as well as metallic and non-metallic industrial sealant products and fasteners for the petroleum refining, petrochemical, and other industrial markets. The Industrial Specialties segment offers a range of industrial products for use in aerospace, industrial, defense and medical device, and instrument markets. Its products include aerospace fasteners; medical implants for spinal and trauma applications; high-pressure and low-pressure cylinders for the transportation, storage, and dispensing of compressed gases; precision tools; tube nuts and fittings; military ordnance components; and steel cartridge cases. The RV & Trailer Products segment offers a range of custom-engineered trailer products, lighting accessories, and roof racks for the trailer original equipment manufacturer, recreational vehicle, agricultural/utility, marine, and industrial trailer markets. The Recreational Accessories segment provides a range of aftermarket cargo management products, towing and hitch systems, and accessories and vehicle protection products used to outfit and accessorize light trucks, sport utility vehicles, and passenger cars. TriMas Corporation is based in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
