The Rechargeable Products segment provides rechargeable batteries consisting of lithium ion cells and batteries, and lead-acid batteries. This segment also sells battery charging systems and accessories, including smart chargers, multi-bay charging systems, and various cables. The Communications Systems segment offers power supplies, cable and connector assemblies, radio frequency amplifiers, amplified speakers, equipment mounts, case equipment, and integrated communication system kits. The Design and Installation Services segment engages in the design, installation, and maintenance of standby power and communications, and electronics systems. Ultralife Corporation markets its products through original equipment manufacturers, industrial and retail distributors, national retailers, and directly. Ultralife Corporation serves government, defense, and commercial customers. It was formerly known as Ultralife Batteries, Inc. and changed its name to Ultralife Corporation in June 2008 to align its corporate name more closely with its business. The company was founded in 1990 and is headquartered in Newark, New York.
