It offers depository services, such as interest-bearing checking deposits, money market savings, demand deposits, savings, time deposits, and certificates of deposits; and commercial business loans, commercial and real estate construction loans, financial loans, agricultural loans, real estate-residential loans, loans to individuals, and municipal loans. The company also provides payroll check cashing, express banking, and online banking services; lease financing; and financial services, including financial planning, investment management, insurance products, and brokerage services to individuals and businesses. In addition, it operates as a reinsurer, which offers life and disability insurance to individuals. As of May 27, 2009, the company had 32 financial service centers, 12 retirement financial services centers, and 38 automated teller machine locations in Montgomery, Bucks, Chester, and Lehigh counties of Pennsylvania. Univest Corporation of Pennsylvania was founded in 1973 and is headquartered in Souderton, Pennsylvania.
