The company also provides a range of consumer-to-business payment services, which include processing electronic and cash payments to various organizations that receive consumer payments, including utilities, auto finance companies, mortgage servicers, financial service providers, and governmental agencies. Its consumer-to-business services include Speedpay electronic payments service that enables consumers to make payments to various billers using credit cards, debit cards, and ACH; Equity Accelerator service enabling consumers to make mortgage payments; Quick Collect service to send funds to businesses and government agencies using cash and debit cards; Quick Cash, a cash disbursement service used by businesses and government agencies to send money to employees or individuals; and Convenience Pay service, which enables consumers to send payments to utilities and telecommunication providers using cash or checks. In addition, The Western Union Company offers money orders; prepaid services; and top-up services for third parties that enable consumers to pre-pay for mobile phone and other services. As of December 31, 2008, it offered its services through a network of approximately 375,000 agent locations. The company was founded in 1851 and is headquartered in Englewood, Colorado.
